Nautical sports

The Bay of Roses is a privileged place for water sports and more particularly for sailing. In all the port facilities of Portderoses are those of the Municipal School of Water Sports in Roses.

Golf

The good quality of the courses in the surroundings of Roses make them the best golf courses: the Peralada Golf Club and the TorreMirona Golf Club. In addition, there is a pitch & putt in Castelló d'Empúries.

Hiking and biking

The itineraries that Roses offers to the visitor are a great scenic beauty which will surely stimulate the senses of passers-by. We offer the Camí de Ronda de Roses: from Santa Margarida to the Jóncols cove, from where we can see long sandy beaches, inhospitable coves, large cliffs and well-preserved coastal pines.

Cycling, BTT

Our area enjoys a privileged geography for this sport. Discover our territory through routes of varying levels of difficulty. We provide a free garage to store your bike and help you choose the route according to your experience and need. Services: Garage for bikes, bike wash area, Technical Repair (subject to an additional cost), Picnic (cost depending on pension) Routes.

In our area there are three natural parks: the Aigüamolls de l'Emporda, with its different routes very well protected wetlands; the Natural Park of Cap de Creus, spectacular rugged and arid with different slopes and difficulties and the Parc de l'Albera, the interior, surrounded by our rural towns Services: HikingPicnic.
