Monastery of St. Pere de Rodes

Girona and the Jewish neighborhood

Ruins of Empúries

Empúries, in the municipal term of the l'Escala, is the only place where a city and a factory Greek, a village of the indigets and a roman city are concentrated at the same time. The Iberian village of the Puig de Sant Andreu d'Ullastret is one of the biggest of Catalonia. Is dated from the s.VI aC even at the beginning of the s.II aC. Located in the middle of Costa Brava, in Baix Empordà, the village of Peratallada constitutes one of the best examples of medieval architecture in the region. The castle-fortress, with its perfectly-preserved tower, palace, and fortified walls, is the best bastion found in Peratallada.
